leadership academy Program Structure
The 100 Black Men of Dekalb (BMOD) flagship program is the Leadership Academy, which was conceptualized in 1992, to target young African American boys who demonstrated high risk factors.
Since then, the program has evolved and now serves boys and girls from middle school (6th) through high school graduation (12th) and focuses on life skills, leadership skills development, as well as, intentional mentoring.
The Leadership Academy is sponsored by the 100 Black Men of Dekalb (BMOD), a chapter of the 100 Black Men of America, Inc., with the financial support of local businesses, public agencies and educational institutions.
