AEROSPACE AWARENESS
The 100 Black Men of Dekalb County, Inc., is excited to announce a new curriculum designed to inspire middle and high school students to explore careers in aerospace. By partnering with other STEM-focused organizations, we aim to expose our youth to the exciting world of aviation and space exploration.
Our Aerospace Awareness Program will offer a variety of hands-on experiences, including:
- Flight simulator training: Students will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of flying a plane without ever leaving the ground.
- Space camp: A field trip to Huntsville, Alabama, will allow students to immerse themselves in the world of space exploration and learn about the latest advancements in rocket science.
- STEM workshops: Participants will engage in a variety of workshops and projects that will develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Mentorship opportunities: Students will have access to mentors who can provide guidance and support as they explore their career options.
Through this innovative program, we hope to inspire the next generation of aerospace engineers, pilots, and astronauts. By providing our youth with the tools and resources they need to succeed, we can help them reach for the stars.
our children's future is limitless!
