WHAT is the 100 BMOD Board of Directors ELECTION process?
1. Call for Nominations:
- The 100 BMOD Nomination Committee, sends out a call for nominations to all members.
- This call will include the specific positions that are up for election, the qualifications required for each position, and the deadline for submitting nominations.
2. Nomination Process:
- Members can self-nominate or nominate other qualified members for the open positions
- Nominations must be submitted through the designated medium to the Nominations Committee.
3. Candidate Screening:
- The Nominations Committee reviews all nominations to ensure that candidates meet the qualifications for the positions they are seeking.
4. Election Process:
- The 100 BMOD holds a general election at the Annual Meeting where all financial members vote for their preferred Candidate(s).
5. Voting:
- Voting is conducted by secret electronic ballot.
6. Tallying Votes:
- After the voting period ends, the votes are tallied by the Nominations Committee.
- The results of the election are then announced to the membership.
7. Induction of New Board Members:
- Newly elected board members will be inducted either on the same day as the Annual Meeting or at the next regularly scheduled board meeting, whichever comes first.
